The Blauberg Calm series offers a modern range of extractor fans that surpass conventional home ventilators. Designed for optimal performance, the Calm fans provide higher airflow and reduced noise levels. Available in a variety of colours, they are perfect for both contemporary and traditional bathroom, kitchen, or wet room designs.

This range is fully compliant with Building Regulations Parts F and L and can be installed in bathroom zones 1 and 2. The built-in shutter helps prevent backdrafts without requiring an external cover. Multiple control options are available, including pull-cord operation, humidity and moisture sensors, or automatic PIR motion detection

Controls & Wiring

This CALM 100T model includes an integrated adjustable run-on timer, allowing you to set the fan to continue running for 2 to 30 minutes after being turned off. It typically connects to your household lighting circuit and requires live, switched live, and neutral connections.

If the run-on timer is not needed, a link can be made between the L and LT terminals. Be sure to consult a qualified electrician if you require assistance.

Bathroom Zones 1 & 2

Special care is usually required when selecting extractor fans for bathrooms and shower areas, as these zones often need SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) 12V fans. However, since the Blauberg Calm fans have a high IP45 rating, they do not require SELV fans. Simply ensure your fan is connected to an RCD (Residual Current Device) for safety.
